Funk-afying Your Thermostats

Are you ready for a super easy "project" to help spruce up an otherwise ignored wall wart?

Start with two ugly, run of the mill thermostats...check

Purchase some funky picture frames...double check

Remove the backing, cardboard inserts, random pictures of overly happy families, and glass...got it

If the frame doesnt fit just right cut one of the inner rims out...whew, that was the hardest part

Bust out your spray paint and give 'em a blast...
We left the silver one as is and hit that white guy with Valspar Black Plum
Hang and swoon

Haha, if you paid any attention to the actual temperatures on the thermostats you'd think we have the craziest weather on Earth and malfunctioning units.
Truth be told, all photos were snapped on different days (the first being when our unit was in fact broken)

  5. Visiting from Someday Crafts. Very nice. Now if we could just get them to make a thermostat that looks like a piece of art, it would be perfect! Seriously, though, most of the utility things we have hanging on our walls a totally ugly by themselves. Great Job!
